Bunn High School Students Win State Fair Competition

Two Bunn High School students placed first in a Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Contest at the State Fair. Students Renee Campbell and Ivan Alvarez also competed.
Mr. Longson says, "We have had a great run in the last four years with a couple of first place teams and one-second place team. We have always had a student winning in the top ten, bringing home cash prizes and tools."
Bunn High School has competed for six years, total. Over that time span, a total of 22 students took part in the competition with 17 students winning an overall $1,550.00 in cash $1,150.00 in tools. For this most recent win, Gonzales and Hinkle brought home 325 dollars and 200 dollars worth of tools.
