North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Guidance
Childcare | Remote Learning Facilities | When Schools Reopen
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is offering guidance to address the concerns of families during the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis. Please review the informational materials below. They provide many of the answers to questions you may have about childcare and remote learning facilities, as well as how to help protect your children when FCS schools eventually reopen for in-person instruction. The Franklin County Board of Education voted unanimously on Monday, July 27th to open the 2020-2021 school year with Plan C, fully remote, for at least nine weeks through Friday, October 23rd. The board retained the option to transition to Plan B, remote and face-to-face learning, based upon the trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic.
