Weather Message 2.2.26
Remote Learning Day – Tuesday, February 3rd
Due to continued hazardous road conditions resulting from the most recent winter storm, Franklin County Schools will operate on a remote learning day tomorrow, Tuesday, February 3, for all staff and students.
All Franklin County Schools facilities—both indoor and outdoor—will be closed. All facility usage and rentals are cancelled.
As a result of this week’s closure and remote learning day, the previously scheduled early release day on Thursday, March 19, and the teacher workday on Friday, March 20, will be converted into full regular school days for students.
To support ongoing recovery efforts, we ask the public to refrain from sledding, parking, riding ATVs, or using school campuses for any recreational purposes at this time. The use of outdoor pavement and grounds hinders our staff’s and vendors’ ability to safely clear ice and prepare schools for a safe return.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we work to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families.
