Weather Message 12.8.25

Good evening Franklin County Schools families and staff,

Due to the ongoing Winter Weather Advisory for Franklin County, which remains in effect through noon on Tuesday, Franklin County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, for all students and staff. Forecasts continue to call for a wintry mix, along with rapidly falling temperatures into the teens, which are expected to create hazardous travel conditions across our area.

All after-school activities, evening events, and facility rentals scheduled for Tuesday are also canceled. 

Thursday's previously scheduled early release day is now being converted into a regular full school day.
