Good Evening Families and Staff,

Franklin County Schools would like to share some important upcoming dates and information with you:

  • Monday, January 20 – Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday (No School)
  • Tuesday, January 21 – Teacher Workday (Traditional & ECHS) / Franklinton Town Hall Meeting
  • Wednesday, January 22 – First Day of the 2nd Semester for Traditional Schools

Please note that on Tuesday, January 21, the only students who will be on campus are:

  • Students at our year-round school, Youngsville Elementary, and
  • High school students who have been contacted to take make-up exams.

Additionally, as we approach the potential for inclement weather next week, we want to remind everyone about our weather procedures. You can review these procedures here: FCS Inclement Weather Information.

In preparation for possible severe weather that could result in unsafe road conditions yet stable power in homes, we may need to implement a remote learning day. On remote learning days, students will work remotely and will not travel to school. School-specific information regarding instruction will be provided as needed if this scenario occurs.
