As we wrap up another week of the 2026–2027 school year, we want to share a few important updates and reminders to help you stay informed and connected with Franklin County Schools.

2025–2026 Accountability Results

The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has released accountability results for the 2025–2026 school year. We are proud of the hard work taking place across Franklin County Schools and the continued progress of our students, teachers and schools.

Stay Connected: Two Apps for FCS Families

We encourage all families to make sure they have access to two important tools:

Campus Parent gives families access to important student information, including grades, attendance, schedules and other academic information.

Upcoming Calendar Reminders

Please make note of these upcoming dates:

  • Monday, September 7 – Labor Day: No school for students or staff.

  • Thursday, September 17 – Early Release Day: Students will be dismissed early.

  • Friday, September 18 – Teacher Workday: No school for students attending traditional-calendar schools or Franklin County Early College High School.
