Shavone Wilkins serves as the Parent & Family Engagement Specialist for Franklin County Schools, where she is dedicated to strengthening the connection between schools, families, and the community. In her role, she specializes in parental involvement initiatives, supports the transition from Pre-K to Kindergarten, co-facilitates the District Parent Advisory Council, and coordinates the Franklin County Schools Franklin CARES program. She also provides leadership in Title I and Federal Programs, ensuring families have the resources and support needed for student success.
A proud Franklin County native and graduate of Louisburg High School, Shavone earned her B.S. in Birth–Kindergarten with a concentration in Early Intervention from Winston-Salem State University and her M.Ed. in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Her professional journey is guided by a passion for empowering families and fostering strong home–school partnerships. She is deeply committed to serving the community she calls home and helping families thrive.
