Ms. Caroline Tate

I have been in public education for over 15 years.  During this time, I have been a substitute teacher, a high school English teacher, an online teacher, and a School Library Media Coordinator.  I believe in STEAM stations because they invoke and foster creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking.

Mr. Charles Elliot

The 2018-2019 school year will be Chuck Elliott's 16th year in education. He started teaching high school English in Ohio but moved to North Carolina in 2006. From 2006 to 2014, he worked at BMS as an 8th grade ELA teacher. In the 2014-2015 school year, he started his new role as an Instructional Technology Facilitator. In the Spring of 2018, Chuck received his Masters in Digital Teaching and Learning from North Carolina State University. This is where he first began to understand the value of STEAM in education. STEAM allows students to showcase their creativity and critical thinking skills outside of the traditional classroom setting.
