Miss. Shields has worked at Franklinton Elementary School, since November of 1991. She has seen a lot of changes since beginning at Franklinton Elementary School. When Miss. Shields first began at Franklinton Elementary School, it was Franklinton City Schools and Franklin County Schools. The two school systems merged. It was a positive transition for everyone. Miss. Shields has worked for various schools in Franklin County. They include Franklinton Middle School, Franklinton High School, Cedar Creek Middle School, Terrill Lane Middle School, Louisburg High School, Edward Best Elementary School, and Goldsand Elementary School. It has been a pleasure to work with teachers from all over Franklin County. Her greatest reward has been the development of each studentś ability to improve their communication skills. She has worked with some students and later worked with their children. It has been a blessing for Miss. Shields, to have worked in the Franklinton City Schools and the Franklin County Schools.
