Ms. Whitfield is a graduate of SUNY Cortland. There she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education. She most recently earned her Master’s degree in Literacy from Queens College in New York. This is her third year teaching. Ms. Whitfield enjoys spending her time with her two cats and soaking up all the wonderful North Carolina sun!

Deanna Kassnove was born and raised in Greenvile, North Carolina. With pirate bride running through her blood. She attended East Carolina University with a bachelor in Elementary Education. Mrs. Kassnove has experience teaching first, third, and now second grade. She loves to spend time with her family, whether playing games, fishing, hiking, or spending time on the lake or beach.
