Welcome to Youngsville Elementary School! Youngsville Elementary is proud of its rich history with the Youngsville community. We have been the only public elementary school in the town of Youngsville for almost 40 years. Over the past 18 years, we have been designated as a top 25 school, a school of honor, an exemplary school and a school of distinction. 

Here at Youngsville Elementary School, it is our goal to create a learning environment that meets the needs of all students. As they only year-round school in Franklin County Schools, Y.E.S focuses on its Youth, searches for innovative methods with Enthusiasm and believes Success is possible for all children.

Ms. Cindy Miller-Walker

Cindy Miller-Walker has served as the Assistant Principal at Youngsville Elementary for five years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,  Academically and Intellectually Gifted Education Certification from East Carolina University, and a Master of School Administration from North Carolina State University. Ms. Miller- Walker’s tenure in education began as a kindergarten teacher in the Wake County Public School System, continued as a first grade teacher in the Charleston County School District, Charleston, South Carolina and returned to Wake County Public School system as a third grade teacher. She began her service in Franklin County Schools in 2002 at Youngsville Elementary as a third grade teacher before serving as the Academically and Intellectually Gifted resource teacher at Long Mill Elementary when it opened in 2008. Ms. Miller-Walker believes as Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” She is honored to serve as a leader with the scholars, staff, parents and community of Youngsville Elementary. She is the mother of two sons and one daughter.
