AIG Specialist

Mrs. Cheatham is the AIG Teacher for Youngsville Elementary and Franklinton Elementary School. She has taught for 26 years. She loves working with children of all ages. She is married to Chris and they have two boys, Blake and Matthew.

ESL Specialist

Mrs. Ashley Thompson graduated from North Carolina State University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Spanish and ESL Education. She began her teaching career at Wakefield High School where she taught Spanish 1 through Advanced Placement for 10 years. She obtained her Master's Degree in Spanish Literature and Linguistics in 2010.  In 2016, she began a new chapter in her educational career at Louisburg Elementary School as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher. She has served ESL students from Louisburg Elementary, Laurel Mill Elementary, Royal Elementary and is now excited to serve Long Mill and Franklinton Elementary. She loves to travel with her husband, learn new technology tools and play outside with her kiddos!
