Ms. Rebecca Culver

Miss Culver is our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Art teacher.  She is from northern Pennsylvania where she attended Mansfield University, majoring in Art Education.  When Miss Culver graduated from college in 2016, she moved to Raleigh, NC.  In her free time, she enjoys being outside hiking with her dog, taking trips to the beach, and exploring her new home city.

Ms. Tasha Hatten

Tasha Hatten has been teaching Theatre Arts in Franklin County Schools for 14 years.  Most of her time was spent at Franklinton Elementary School.  She started teaching at Franklinton Middle School the 2017-2018 school year where she teaches Theatre Arts to grades 6 through 8.  Ms. Hatten graduated from the University of South Alabama with her BA in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Theatre Arts.  She received her Masters of Theatre Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.    Ms. Hatten is excited to start a Theatre program at FMS, and hopes to see it grow and become a shining star in Franklin County Schools.

Mr. Smith received his Bachelor's in Music Education and Business Administration from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.  This is Mr. Smith’s second year teaching here at Franklinton Middle, where he teaches band and vocal music. Mr. Smith is certified in the area of K-12 Music Education.

Ms. Jerri Terry

My name is Jerri Terry and I am a proud member of Franklin County Schools’ Career and Technical Education team at Franklinton Middle School where I am also the cheerleading coach.  I previously taught ELA for three years in Virginia prior to coming to Franklin County and this is year five for me at Franklinton Middle School.  I received a B.S. in Organizational Management from Saint Paul’s College and a Masters in Management from Cambridge College.  I also have an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Southside Virginia Community College.  I love teaching business and technology courses as well as interacting with my students.  In my spare time I love spending time with my family and gardening.
