I am from Wichita, Kansas, and I received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Fort Hays State University. This will be my first year at Franklinton Middle after previously working the last 3 years in the logistics industry. I have a passion for working with young learners! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive and fun environment.

Mrs. Sarah Downum is from Upstate New York. She graduated from Oswego State University of New York with a Bachelor's degree of Education grades K-6. Mrs. Downum received her Master’s Degree in Education from Oswego State University of New York. Mrs. Downum has three children and a husband who teaches 8th grade Social Studies at FMS. She also enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with her family.
