Mrs. Donna Jones began her career in the Professional Theatre after graduating from East Carolina with a Batchelor of Arts Degree in Theatre Management.  After deciding to become a teacher, Mrs. Jones graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in K-12 Art Education from East Carolina University. Mrs. Jones taught Art for three years in elementary, middle, and high school, then returned to East Carolina to pursue her Bachelor's degree in K-5 Education. After teaching kindergarten as well as first grade, Mrs. Jones completed her Masters of Library Science at North Carolina Central University.  Mrs. Jones has been Nationally Board Certified in Library Media Childhood - Young Adult since 2007.   Mrs. Jones has served as the media coordinator at Edward Best for 21 years and served as Lead Media Coordinator for Franklin County Schools for two years.
