Mr. Stewart Brown

Mr. Stewart Brown graduated from North Carolina A&T State University with a bachelors degree in K-12 Physical Education in 1993. He began his teaching career at Edward Best Elementary School in January 1994 He is still current teaching at Edward Best Elementary School .He also taught Adult Learning at Vance Granville Community College from 1993 until 1999. He has been living in louisburg all his life.

Ms. Jeanette Stewart

Ms. Jeanette Stewart studied at the Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and earned a Bachelor Degree in Education from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She completed post graduate studies at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC and North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC. She taught grades K-12 in Hyde County Schools in Swan Quarter, North Carolina and for Alamance Community College before pursuing a career in professional photography. In 2004 she returned to full time teaching as a Franklin County K-5 Art Teacher at Edward Best Elementary School, Louisburg, North Carolina.

Ms. Nancy Stover

Ms. Nancy Wheeler Stover is a native of Franklin County where she attended Edward Best School and Bunn High School. She is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Music and she received her Kodály Certification from the Carolina Kodály Institute at Lenoir-Rhyne University. She has been teaching since 2001 in North Carolina and serves as the president of Kodály Educators of North Carolina. She is the co-coordinator of the Franklin County All-County Chorus and has served on the NCMEA Elementary Board.
