Mrs. Jessica Baker graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from East Carolina University and with her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from University of North Carolina Wilmington. She teaches fifth grade English Language Arts and Social Studies at Edward Best Elementary School.

Ms. Bendel graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina with a Bachelors of Science degree. She received her National Board Certification in 2007. Ms. Bendel has taught 30 years in Franklin County.

Ms. Katelyn Dwyer
Mrs. Katelyn Dwyer graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Champlain College in Burlington, VT. In 2012 she and her husband moved to Raleigh, NC where she taught fifth grade at Laurel Mill Elementary. In 2013, they moved back to Massachusetts where she taught fourth grade for two years before returning back to Franklin County in July 2015.

Ms. Angela McCracken
Mrs. Angela McCracken graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education (K-6) from Appalachian State University in 1990. She taught 6th grade at Bunn Elementary School for 2 years before moving to Winston-Salem, NC, where she taught for 2 years as a primary Reading teacher in the Forsyth County School System. After returning home to Franklin County, she began teaching at Edward Best Elementary School where she has been teaching 5th grade, currently Math and Science, for 24 years.
