Ms. Amanda Cash
Mrs. Amanda Cash
Mrs. Amanda Cash graduated in 2000 from Louisburg College with her Associates Degree in Elementary Education. In 2002, she transferred to Appalachian State University, earning her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, she got a job teaching 2nd grade at Edward Best Elementary. After that school year, she moved to Greenville, NC to continue her studies, earning her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. In August 2004 Mrs. Cash returned to Edward Best and taught 1st grade for twelve years. Now she is in her sixth year as a 4th grade teacher at EBES and loves teaching ELA and Social Studies.

Ms. Lindsay Duncan
Mrs. Lindsay Duncan graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She returned to Louisburg to work at Edward Best Elementary School as a 4th grade teacher at the school she attended as a child. She teaches math and science as part of a team in 4th grade and this is her seventh year teaching.

Ms. Jill Joyner
Mrs. Jill Joyner graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from NC Wesleyan College. She began her career as a math and reading remedial teacher at Franklinton Elementary in 2009. For the next three years, she taught 4th grade. She then moved to 5th grade at Franklinton Elementary where she taught fifth grade math and science for 3 years. In 2016, she transferred to Edward Best Elementary where she teaches 4th grade math and science.

Ms. Miniki Spivey
Ms. Spivey graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in Management & Society. For the past six years, Ms. Spivey has worked in education and has spent much of her time as a highly requested long-term substitute at Edward Best. She is currently pursuing her licensure in Elementary Education.
