I am so excited to join the Edward Best Elementary family.  This is my 12th year teaching.  I have taught kindergarten and first grade throughout my career.  I am coming to Franklin County Schools from Johnston County Schools.  I am originally from Laurinburg, North Carolina.  I graduated from Presbyterian College with a BS in Early Childhood Education in 2010, and I received my National Board Certification in 2014.  I was married in 2017, and my husband and I live just down the road in the White Level community.  We have two children.  I look forward to getting to know the community and a wonderful school year!
