Ms. Karen Gardner
Ms. Karen Gardner grew up in Burlington, NC and graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design. After working and living in Raleigh for several years, she went back to Meredith College to complete her education degree for K-6. She has been at Edward Best Elementary for 18 years and has taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade.

Mrs. Murphy has been teaching for 23 years at Edward Best Elementary. She graduated from UNCW with a BA in elementary education. She loves going to the beach and spending time with her three boys. She enjoys outdoor activities such as baseball, swimming and jogging.

Ms. Williams served as a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant for multiple years at EBES while obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. This will be her third year as a Kindergarten Teacher at Edward Best.
