Mrs. Monica Pearce

Mrs. Pearce graduated cum laude with an Associate in Arts degree from Louisburg College.  In addition, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University. 

She has been in the teaching profession for more than fifteen wonderful years, all at Cedar Creek Middle School!  
 
Mrs. Pearce enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, crafting, and cooking.  She looks forward to another 15 years of amazing time in the classroom!

Mr. John Southerland

Mr. Southerland was born in Wilmington, NC (Hometown of the GREAT Michael Jordan).  After graduating from high school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from East Carolina University.  

Mr. Southerland began teaching at Cedar Creek Middle School in 2005.  During his time at CCMS, he has had the unique opportunity of teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade.  In addition to teaching, he has coached football at CCMS for five seasons.  

"It has been an honor to educate the students at Cedar Creek Middle School."
