Ms. Erica Alston

Ms. Alston, graduate of Louisburg High school, began her teaching journey at Cedar Creek Middle School in the Fall of 2017. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in mathematics from North Carolina Central University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  

When she is not teaching, she enjoys physical fitness and playing softball. She enjoys supporting her students inside the classroom and at their extracurricular activities. A teacher's presence outside the classroom makes a difference inside the classroom!

Ms. Melissa Nakhle

Mrs. Nakhle has a B.A. in English Linguistics from Indiana University and Teaching Certification from North Carolina State University (6-12). This is her second year as a jaguar.

She is the mother to two wonderful boys and enjoys all the adventure that entails.

Ms. Lisa Dukelow

Hello 7th grade students and parents.  My name is Lisa Dukelow and I am excited to be with you this year at Cedar Creek Middle School.  I am from Hillsborough, North Carolina and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I obtained my degree in Political Science.  I then attended Law School at North Carolina Central University. After practicing law, I obtained my teaching degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  I have taught in Orange County and Vance County North Carolina.  

I enjoy working with History Club and Science Olympiad. In my free time I like to scrapbook, read, and spend time with my pets.

Mr. Daniel Belton

Mr. Belton was born and raised in Wake Forest and attended NC State University. There he received a BA in Communication. He has since enrolled in a Master's of Arts in Teaching program, also at NC State. He is certified in Social Studies (6-9) and loves learning and teaching about all the topics under the Social Studies umbrella. 

 
In his free time, Mr. Beltons enjoys going on adventures with his 4-year-old daughter, watching anything related to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and playing video games on his PlayStation.

Ms. Sheryl Moseley

Ms. Moseley is originally from Kinston, NC. She attended North Carolina State University as an undergraduate where she majored in Middle Grades Education. She received her Master's degree from the University of North Carolina in K-12 Literacy. She is certified in Language Arts (6-9), Social Studies (6-9), and Reading (K-12). She enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs (Fritz and Ace), reading fiction novels, and cooking new recipes.

Ms. Rachel Taulbee

In 2015, Ms. Taulbee graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia. She is certified to teach grades 6-9 in Science and English Language Arts and is also a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an International Honor Society in Education.

She began working at Cedar Creek in August 2016 after relocating from Georgia and has enjoyed every minute! She feels blessed to be a part of the CCMS family and Franklin County Schools. 

Her students are her passion. She believes that every child is just one caring adult away from being a success story. Science is one of those subjects many find intimidating; her goal is to inspire and engage students so they feel like science is fun and something they CAN find success in.
