Ms. Harris is the art teacher at Youngsville Elementary School. She is a native of Franklin County and Bunn High School Alum. Ms. Harris attended Meredith College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education. Her goal as an art teacher is to make all of her students feel welcomed and loved in a safe environment. When she is not teaching, she enjoys crafting, watching hockey (Go Canes!), and going to the beach.

Mrs. Spicer received her Associates degree in music performance (1992) in Northern New York
where she and her husband are from. She went back to school and received her Bachelor’s
degree in music education in 2016. She has been a substitute teacher for Franklin County
Schools since 2008. She taught music 1 year in Wake County and came aboard YES in
September of 2018. She loves to spend time with her husband, three sons, daughter, daughter-
n-law and two grandchildren. She also enjoys riding bikes, walking, visiting family in other states,
and, of course, music! All types of music, but especially teaching music to YES Jr. Jags!

Savannah Richards is the STEM/Digital Literacy Coach at Youngsville Elementary School. She has served in Franklin County Schools for 14 years as a teacher and most recently an Instructional Technology Facilitator. She is excited about building the STEM program and currently works with the 3rd grade, 4th and 5th grade teams. This program will center around the 4 Cs - Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication and Creativity. 

Mrs. Bowden is so excited to be a part of the YES team. She started with YES in 2017. She has worked with children of all ages for over 26 years. She received her Associates in Applied Science Degree with a background in Early Childhood Education from Vance Granville Community College. She loves working with children and watching them grow their own unique personalities. Mrs. Bowden is married and has two children. She loves animals and spending time with her family. On the weekends you can find her on a boat somewhere at  Kerr Lake with her family. She also has a love for the beach! She and her family love to go camping in Frisco, NC. Fishing and sea shell hunting are her favorite things to do!
