Mrs. Walton has taught in Franklin County since 2015. She grew up in Virginia and taught there from 2003 until 2012. She has also taught in Wake County. She graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. She is married, has 2 grown children and 1 very spoiled dog. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends & traveling. She loves teaching at Youngsville Elementary School!

Miss Houser has been a Jr. Jag since she began her teaching career in 2019! This will be her fourth year teaching. She taught 3rd grade for 2 years and 1st grade for 1 year and is so excited to be back in 3rd! Miss Houser teaches Reading and Social Studies. She graduated from Appalachian State University (Go 'Neers!) in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in psychology. She loved it so much, she stayed an extra year to get her Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Emotional Behavioral Disorders and an Autism Spectrum Disorders certification. When she is not teaching, Miss Houser loves to be outside riding her mountain bike, or inside reading books and crafting. Her favorite thing to do is cheer on the Carolina Hurricanes during hockey season.

Ms. Fouts is a graduate of N.C. State University and completed her Elementary Education Teaching Certification through East Carolina University. She joined the Youngsville Elementary family in 2013. Currently, Ms. Fouts teaches math and science while her teammate, Ms. McCarty, teaches ELA and social studies. She has 3 adult children, 2 sons and a daughter. Mrs. Fouts enjoys travelling with her husband, especially, to the North Carolina mountains and beaches.

Mrs. McCarty is a third grade teacher who has been teaching at Youngsville Elementary for 11 years. She has also taught 1st, 2nd and 5th grades. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education K-6 from Elon University and National Board Certification in 2007 for Early Childhood Generalist. She renewed the National Board Certification in 2017. The last few years she has been teaching the ELA (English Language Arts) and Social Studies portion of the third grade curriculum, while Mrs. Fouts, her teammate, uses her expertise to teach Math and Science. They love working together. Outside of school, she is a wife and mother of 2 boys. She enjoys family time, warm weather, and spending time at Kerr Lake!
