Ms. Thompson is very excited to join the second grade team at Youngsville Elementary School.  She has been a part of the Youngsville Community since 2002. Her family moved to Youngsville from Lynchburg, VA after her daughter, Abigayle, was born in 2000. In 2005, she returned to work as a substitute teacher at Y.E.S.  She was hired by Franklin County Public Schools in 2006 as an Instructional Assistant/Bus Driver.
