Ms. McConnell

Susette Spivey McConnell is a native of Franklin County.  She received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina Central University and Master’s in math education from East Carolina University.  This is her 3rd year teaching in Franklin County Schools.  She taught at a local charter school for 15 years and 1 year in Durham Public Schools.  She is the mother of five children and grandmother to two boys who live in Haiti.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, volunteering at NC Science Olympiad tournaments and walking in 5k’s to help support Alzheimer’s, Girls on the Run, and NAMI.

Ms. Ms. Moseley

Ms. Moseley has been an educator for four years.  She has been a part of the Long Mill family as a third grade teacher for all four years of her career.  Ms. Moseley received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University in 2014.  During her free time Ms. Moseley enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and getting outdoors to explore nature.  Ms. Moseley is a dedicated educator and is looking forward to many years of helping students grow into lifelong learners.

Ms. Reid

Ms. Reid graduated from East Carolina University in May 2014 with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. She just recently graduated from Appalachian State University in June 2017 with a Masters Degree in Curriculum Specialist. Ms. Reid is in her fourth year teaching at Long Mill Elementary. She taught third grade for three years and is currently teaching fifth grade math and science. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, playing sports and traveling.

Ms. Sutton

 Ms. Sutton is new to the LongMill Family. This is her 2nd year teaching 5th grade. She obtained her Elementary Education degree from East Carolina University.  She has a concentration in Mathematics. She is originally from Farmville, NC and will soon be moving to Youngsville with her soon-to-be husband, Hunter.  She is passionate about teaching and making sure her students and learning and loved.  She is a sports fanatic and in her free time Ms. Sutton likes to read, hang out with family, and watch football.
