Mr. James "Bart" Elliott

Bart Elliott is beginning his fourth year as Principal of Cedar Creek Middle School.  Prior to being named principal, Mr. Elliott served as Assistant Principal of Cedar Creek Middle.  This is his 22st year in education and during this time Mr. Elliott worked as a Special Education and 5th grade teacher in Franklin and Wake Counties.  He also was a Positive Behavior Intervention coach in Wake County Public schools and also served as an Instructional Resource Teacher at Wakelon Elementary School.

Mr. Elliott is originally from Pennsylvania but moved to Franklin County in the summer of 1997.  He met his wife Karen, who currently teaches adaptive PE in Wake County. They have two kids, a son who graduated in 2017 from Franklinton High School and a daughter who currently attends FHS. They also have two dogs. The Elliott’s have been Franklin County Residents for the past 18 years and are proud to call North Carolina their home.

Mr. Wayne Hicks

Mr. Hicks began his career in his hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently in his 21st year in education. During his career, he has served as a high school math teacher, math and science coach, safe schools coordinator, and assistant principal. His work experiences in Baltimore, Maryland, Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Wake Forest, North Carolina have given him a passion for education and learning that drives him daily. He has strived to encourage students to always do their best so that their future goals can move from a dream to a reality. He is now a proud member of "Jaguar Country."

Ms. Marian Ridgeway

Ms. Ridgeway has been in education since graduating from Hampton University in 1991.  She has taught many subjects including Middle School Language Arts and Math, High School English, AP Language and Composition, Journalism, and Drama.  She has served as a school administrator since 2005 and worked with all grade levels. She spent one year as a district Title I School Improvement Coordinator working with elementary schools to improve student achievement levels and one year as a High School Safe Schools Coordinator.
