Ms. Claire Roehl
Ms. Claire Roehl graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2012. In 2015, she earned her Masters of Arts in Elementary Education, also from UNCW. Ms. Roehl was chosen as Franklin County Schools Teacher of the Year in 2015 and she has worked at Edward Best since 2012. This is Ms. Roehl's first year as an Interventionist.

Ms. Lesley Tanner
I am a native of Franklin County. I have worked with Franklin County Schools for the past 25 years. During those 25 years, I have served as an IA and Bus Driver for Edward Best Elementary, Receptionist for Franklin County Schools Central Office, 4th Grade Teacher for Franklinton Elementary School and now 1st Grade Teacher at Edward Best Elementary. This is Ms. Tanner's second year as an Interventionist at Edward Best. I am married to Johnny Tanner and we have three daughters and one granddaughter.
