March 15th, 2022: Richards, Lockard, and Fox Selected as Newest Administrators for FCS
He brings a great deal of valuable experience and will be an asset to the Cedar Creek Middle School Community.
Mr. Lockard demonstrates the passion and commitment needed to move Bunn Middle School forward.
Ms. Fox is positive and enthusiastic, and her background as both an instructional assistant and a classroom teacher will serve her well in her new role at Royal Elementary -
February 21st, 2022: Servant Extraordinaire, Towanda Wiggins
The former prom coordinator now runs a non-profit prom foundation. "While coordinating prom, it became abundantly clear that some students shy away from attending prom due to a lack of financial resources," says Ms. Wiggins. Therefore, Ms. Wiggins started to assist several students over the years to attend prom.

February 16th, 2022: Williams selected as newest AP for Youngsville Elementary School
Mr. Latelle Williams has served as a health and physical education teacher at Cedar Creek Middle School since 2013, including eight years as a coach.

January 7th, 2022: Long Mill teacher selected as an NCCAT Beginning Teacher of the Year Finalist
Rachel McKeithan is blazing a new trail in the succession of McKeithan educators in Franklin County. The second year, 4th grade math teacher has been selected as a finalist for the North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) 2022 Prudential NC Beginning Teacher of the Year Award in honor of her dedication, innovation, and ability to inspire students to achieve.
