We are seeking volunteers from our community- our parents, employees from area businesses, and local churches, and non-profit agencies to support our efforts with this initiative.
Franklin CARES is a partnership between Franklin County Schools and our community to support reading development. The CARES- Community Advancing Reading in Elementary Schools program, is available to all eight of our FCS Elementary schools.
"The most positive takeaway I can share is that this program is an opportunity for the children involved to meet and interact with adults who care and show kindness for them outside their regular, daily circles. I can't speak for the children, but I know it is fun for me, and I hope it is for them as well."
