During the 2019-20 school year, Franklin County Schools engaged in a Strategic Planning process that involved the larger school community in the identification of key goals and strategies for continued district progress.
With stakeholder feedback, the strategic planning committee worked to develop new vision and mission statements, as well as goals and specific measurable outcomes for student success. In addition, the committee developed a work plan for consistent progress monitoring and adjustment.
This guiding document, Blueprint 2025, is provided as a high-level overview of the district’s plan. In addition, we have provided a breakdown of strategies by goal.
Due to the significant and ongoing impact of COVID-19, designation of benchmarked measurable outcomes for each year is difficult to establish at this time. The district will use the 2021 spring assessment results as a baseline for yearly targets based upon each goal.
