Southerland Named CTE Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to John Southerland of Cedar Creek Middle School, who was selected as Franklin County Schools 2024 NCCAT Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year. Over the past year, Mr. Southerland has worked hard to increase students' love for exploration by teaching new curriculum in the school's Paxton Lab. The Paxton Lab provides the ultimate career exploration to engage students in authentic problem-based learning experiences as they discover their interests and aptitudes.
