John Brown Big Band Visits FCS
We had the honor of hosting the esteemed John Brown Big Band yesterday. This professional large jazz ensemble shared its expertise with our students through a spectacular concert and engaging master classes at each of our high schools.
The John Brown Big Band performed pieces that immersed our students in the rich sounds of jazz legends like Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more.
This project, funded by the North Carolina Arts Council, a Department of Natural and Cultural Resources division, aimed to enrich our students' musical education and appreciation.
