When the first bell rang this morning, students won't simply begin another school year. Students may pursue an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Teacher Preparation while still completing their high school education.

Franklin County Early College High School has earned an "A" School Performance Grade every year since the 2016–2017 school year, making it one of the district's premier academic programs. Its commitment to excellence has also translated into exceptional student growth, ranking among the Top 5.2% of schools in North Carolina for student growth during the 2024–2025 school year after ranking in the Top 10% statewide the year before.

Principal Dr. Laura Wilson believes that culture is the school's greatest strength.
