Louisburg, NC – Franklin County Schools proudly hosted the 3rd Semi-Annual Parent Summit at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville yesterday. The event provided a forum for parents, principals, and district leadership to engage in productive discussions on enhancing student achievement and strengthening parental involvement. The summit began with Dr. Rhonda Schuhler, Superintendent of Franklin County Schools, welcoming address and updates on the district's progress toward goals.

A Principal Panel titled "Involvement to Engagement," followed by Tonya Treadway (Principal of Louisburg Magnet High), Zachary Richards (Principal of Cedar Creek Middle), Trenace Gilmore (Principal of Louisburg Elementary), and moderator Shavone Wilkins (Parent & Family Engagement Coordinator).

Next, a Principal Carousel offered an interactive experience, with principals and parent participants examining various educational perspectives. Principals were able to indulge in vertical discussions from feeder schools. Lastly, time was dedicated to Team Action Planning, where school planning teams came together to develop collaborative strategies and set actionable goals.
