Franklin County Schools Board of Education Seeks Community Input in Superintendent Search

Louisburg, N.C. – September 10, 2025 — The Franklin County Schools (FCS) Board of Education has partnered with the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to facilitate the search for the district’s next superintendent.

As part of this process, the Board is seeking direct input from students, parents, and community members to help shape the search and define the characteristics, experience, and skills most desired in the next FCS superintendent.

Community members are encouraged to share their feedback by completing the Community Survey, available online in both English and Spanish:

All surveys must be submitted by Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Results will be compiled and presented by NCSBA at the FCS Board of Education’s regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 13, 2025.

In addition to survey responses, local groups and organizations are invited to submit written statements regarding the leadership qualities they consider important in the next superintendent. Statements should be sent directly to NCSBA via email at sthorp@ncsba.org no later than September 30, 2025.
