Louisburg, NC—Franklin County Schools is pleased to announce that Terika Hooks has been appointed as the new Assistant Principal of Bunn High School. Ms. Hooks brings a wealth of experience and a passion for educational leadership to her new role, having previously served as an Assistant Principal Intern at Cleveland Middle School.
In her previous role, Ms. Hooks demonstrated exceptional skills in instructional leadership, behavior management, and community engagement. She has a proven track record in enhancing teacher effectiveness, analyzing data to guide instructional practices, and fostering positive relationships within the school community. "I am excited and extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve the Bunn High community. I look forward to a year of promoting academic excellence while building authentic relationships," said Ms. Hooks. Her commitment to creating a rigorous and supportive learning environment aligns perfectly with the goals of Bunn High School.

Ms. Hooks holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading from East Carolina University. She received her Master's in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in May 2024.
