Louisburg, NC — Franklin County Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Charles Elliott as the new Director of Data Systems & Data Integration. Mr. Elliott brings nearly two decades of experience in education, instructional technology, and data management, having dedicated the past 10 years as an Instructional Technology Facilitator for Franklin County Schools.
In his new role, Mr. Elliott will oversee the district's data systems, focusing on optimizing data integration and supporting innovative solutions that enhance educational outcomes. His extensive background includes serving as an NCBOLD Presenter, EmpowerED team leader, and a member of the district's Canvas Migration Team.
"I'm grateful to have served Franklin County Schools as an Instructional Technology Facilitator for the past 10 years," said Mr. Elliott. "I am excited to continue supporting the staff and students in this new role and to help the district leverage data to drive success."
Superintendent Dr. Rhonda Schuhler stated, "Charles Elliott has been a steadfast leader in our district, and his deep understanding of instructional technology and data systems makes him uniquely qualified for this position. We are excited about the innovative strategies he will bring to enhance our district's operations and improve student achievement."
Mr. Elliott holds a Master's in Digital Learning and Teaching from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's in Secondary Education from Bowling Green State University. He is also CETL, ISTE, and Canvas Certified, with additional certifications in Google and Amplified Admin.
