Louisburg, NC – Franklin County Schools announces the appointment of Dr. Jennifer Innis as the new Assistant Principal of Bunn Middle School. A North Carolina native with over 15 years of educational experience, Dr. Innis brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to her new role. 

Dr. Innis holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. She last served as a lead teacher for Person County Schools Virtual Academy. She has also worked as an MTSS Facilitator, K-5 Instructional Coach, and a Spanish Teacher. Her expertise includes strategic planning, student engagement, and culturally responsive teaching practices, making her a strong advocate for academic excellence and equity.

Throughout her career, Dr. Innis has been recognized for her contributions as a teacher, instructional coach, and leader. She has been honored as Teacher of the Year and a National Board-Certified Educator, among many accolades. Her passion for people and commitment to community engagement align perfectly with the values and mission of Bunn Middle School.
