Meal Status Expiring October 5
This is an important reminder for any parent or guardian who participated in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) during the 2017-2018 school year.
You must apply or re-apply for free or reduced-priced meals this year. If you have not done so, students who were previously on a plan will convert to paid on October 5, 2018.
Parents who applied or reapplied this year do not need to reapply again. You can contact the School Nutrition Office if you are unsure.
This process of applying for free or reduced-priced meals effects all schools, all grades... but especially CEP designated schools. Prior to this year, parents did not have to apply.
Former CEP designated schools include:
- Bunn Elementary School
- Edward Best Elementary School
- Franklinton Elementary School
- Franklinton Middle School
- Laurel Mill Elementary School
- Louisburg Elementary School
- Terrell Lane Middle School
- Royal Elementary School
If you are a family in need of free or reduced priced meals, you will need to fill out an application. You can do so online, by visiting: https://www.
Paper applications can be picked up in your school's office or the district's school nutrition office.
