The Human Resources Department is responsible for managing and tracking the district's staffing needs. With over 1,100 full-time employees, Franklin County Schools is the largest employer in Franklin County, North Carolina. Employee Assistance Program
Franklin County Schools is pleased to provide the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a valuable benefit to all employees of Franklin County School System. EAP offers help for personal and/or professional concerns by providing free, confidential, short-term counseling and personal consultation.
Franklin County Schools has partnered with Freedom House Recovery Center, Inc. a behavioral healthcare provider with over 40 years of experience, to offer EAP services. EAP counselors can help you improve or resolve personal difficulties whether big or small, personal or work-related.
Some examples of concerns that the EAP addresses include:
- Family conflict
- Depression and anxiety
- Relationship issues
- Communication breakdowns
- Grief and loss
- Alcohol or drug use
- Work-related issues
- Psychiatric evaluation and medication
Freedom House operates an information and referral line for FCSS employees that would like more information about services available to them. The information line operates Monday through Friday 8:30A-4P and can be reached at 919-428-1248.
Outpatient services are provided via Freedom House’s Lake Area Health Care Clinic in Warrenton, NC. FCSS employees may schedule an appointment for an assessment and counseling by calling the Lake Area Health Clinic directly at 252-879-0091.
