I graduated from NCSU with a degree in Agricultural Economics and from NCCU with a Masters of Library Science. I have been a librarian for 20 years and at LHS since 2003. I love to help students find the books that will spark their love of reading and their curiosity about life.

Mrs. Heidi Jakasal

Mrs. Jakasal, previously Ms. Watren as of last June 2019, has over 14 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Jakasal graduated from Concordia University in 1996 with a BA in Education and received her Masters in Education from UNC-Greensboro in 2011. She has taught in South Korea and various other schools across North Carolina. She loves teaching Newcomer ESL students and has taught ESL in Franklin County for the last 3 years.
 
She has 3 girls of her own; one of which is a Veterinary Nurse at an ER in Durham and the other two are at UNC-G. In her spare time, she loves to travel and cheer on her radio personality husband, DJ Clash of WQFS 90.9 and other radio stations at various events across NC as well as worldwide.

Ms. Casey Whitley

I grew up in Franklin County and graduated from Bunn High in 2011. I attended East Carolina University and graduated from their nursing school in 2015. I worked at WakeMed for 4 years then started my career as a school nurse here at LHS in 2019. I love Franklin County and being a part of the Louisburg High family!
