Cardwell joined Franklinton Elementary School in 2025 as assistant principal, where she supported instructional improvement, teacher development, student behavior initiatives, and daily school operations. Since stepping into the interim principal role, she has worked to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families while maintaining high expectations for teaching and learning.

LOUISBURG, N.C. — Franklin County Schools proudly celebrated the Bunn High School baseball team as student-athletes and coaches received their 2026 NCHSAA 4A Baseball State Championship rings, commemorating a historic season for Bunn High School and the Franklin County Schools district.
