I'm excited to say that Tuesday, October12 will be our first day of extended hours for the Media Center!  Each Tuesday that school is in session we will stay open for Family Time until 5:30 pm.  During this time students and parents will be able to come in to check out books, read together and take AR tests.*  To make sure that we keep everyone safe and that everyone has the opportunity to check out books/take tests we need for everyone to observe the following guidelines:

Students may stay after school for up to 30 minutes without a parent if we receive written permission from a parent.  Phone calls will not be accepted as permission to stay.

Parents may check out up to five books to take home and share with their child.  Students may also turn in books and check out new ones.

Remember, this is a family reading time.  Computers may be used only for students to take AR tests.  Sorry but no games, email checks, etc. will be allowed.

*Students in kindergarten are not taking AR tests at this time.  Students in first grade will begin taking tests as soon as they are able to read and test independently.
