At Edward Best, the Media Center is more than a place to check out books. It's the heart of our school. Preparing students to be lifelong learners is a collaborative effort between the media specialist, teachers, parents, and our administration. Students participate in a wide variety of hands on activities in the Media Center that equip them with the 21st Century Skills necessary to be successful citizens.

Monday – Friday 8:30 – 2:30
The Media Center operates on a flex schedule. This means that students may come anytime during the school day to check out books or use the Media Center for research. Teachers may also schedule time to work with Mrs. Jones on specific projects and activities to enhance the curriculum or just to bring their class for book talks or to hear a great story. Beginning Tuesday, October 12th, we will extend our hours on each Tuesday that school is in session until 5:30 pm. During this time, parents may come in to read with their child, check out books and take AR tests. For more details about “Terrific Tuesdays” click on the link.
