Bunn HS Band Earns "Superior" Rating at State Band Festival - First in BHS History
The Bunn High School Band attended the NC Bandmasters Association Concert Band Festival, or MPA (Music Performance Adjudication) on March 23rd. Bands from across Central NC attended to receive feedback from judges and earn a rating of either Superior (I) , Excellent (II), Average (III), Below Average (IV) or Poor (V). For the first time in Bunn High School history, the BHS Band earned a Superior rating! This is also the first Superior rating for any FCS Band in several years. Students performed Snake Charmer by Randall Standridge, March Glorious by John Cacavas, and Among the Clouds by Brian Balmages. The Bunn HS Band Director, Melody Causby, and students are very excited about their performance and are looking forward to continued hard work and successes
