Objective: To learn what life was like in the Middle Ages. Welcome to the Middle Ages!  You will learn what life was like in the Middle Ages.  For instance what was life like in the manor house?  Who did the work of a manor?  Who lived in the manor house?  What were the major crops grown on the manor lands?    How could people living on a manor control their environment?

Assignments:



Write a letter to a friend about a typical day on a manor.
Pretend you are a reporter for a newspaper.  Interview a knight and find out how he got his job.
List three advantages and three disadvantages of being a peasant on a manor.
