<my:field4>Our group is still focusing on using the Shedlock series. We discussed how we are assessing our students accurately. A comment was made about how it is hard to test creatively and non-traditional when we have a E.O.C that is multiple choice. This forces us to rely on multiple choice tests. Neither Civics nor U.S. has heard back about Benchmark tests and are wondering if they are going to come prior to the E.O.C.</my:field4>

<my:field5>Students are learning how to analyze and examine multiple choice questions. A decision was made to create multiple choice questions from the Shedlock material. Students are learning how to pick out what information is important to remember and study. </my:field5>

<my:field10>We are using a number of assessments such as quizzes, tests and oral questioning. One Shedlock lesson plan that the U.S History teachers have used was document that highlighted specific achievements of the U.S. Presidents from 1850-1900. They are trying to focus on materials that go with the content that they are teaching. </my:field10>

<my:field11>We are looking to work on a E.O.C study guide for the students to work on over Christmas break. After giving the students this, we will see how it worked and how much the students got out of having a study guide. We also will be preparing for the E.O.C. test and reviewing what we have learned for next semester.</my:field11>
