IDEA Compliance Guidelines

According to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act  "Federal agencies must ensure that electronic and information technology is accessible to employees and members of the public  with disabilities to the extent it does not pose an "undue burden." (Rehabilitation Act, amendment 508)

To meet this standard, Franklin County Schools has created a handout for webmasters to guide them in creating web pages that are as accessible as possible to individuals with disabilities.
