New Announcements

Financial Aid Workshop Thursday

A financial aid program for parents will be held Thursday, January 26 at 6:00 pm in the LHS Media Center.  The program is intended for the parents of senior, but all parents are welcome.

LHS Dance Team

Anyone interested in joining the LHS Hip Hop Dance Team, should sign up in the cafeteria today or Friday.  For more information, see Eddie Pablo (between classes) or Ms. Church.

Senior Field Trip

Permission forms and money for the February 3^rd movie trip must be turned in no later than Tuesday, January 31 at 3:00pm.  See Ms. McDonald, Ms. Harder or Ms. Wright.

 

Repeat Announcements

Digital Filmmaking Club

Mrs. Church will be forming a Digital Filmmaking Club this semester.  If you are interested, please see her to sign up.

Graduation Fees Due

Seniors – Graduation fees are $30.  Submit your payment to either Ms. Frisbie or Ms. Perdue in the Media Center.

Prom Information

Prom Fact Sheets are available in the Front Office & Guidance Dept.

Prom Payment Schedule:

• $100.00 if paid in January
• $110.00 if paid in February
• $120.00 if paid in March
• Seniors who paid for prom as juniors gain FREE admittance to the prom.
• Seniors, who did not pay as juniors, must pay as a senior.

Relay for Life

If you are a cancer survivor and would like to attend the Survivor Dinner, please see Ms. Borkowski for a registration form. The dinner is scheduled for May 8th at Louisburg College, more information to come.  If anyone is interested in joining the Relay for Life Warriors team, please see Ms. Borkowski. You must be dedicated, dependable and willing to walk. The membership fee is $10.

SGA

SGA Officers will meet this Thursday at 3:00 in Dr. Taylor’s room (112). We will be discussing our February fund raiser AND have a guest speaker from the Red Cross. We need EVERYONE present.

Summer Ventures

The Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics program is now accepting applications. This is a four week summer program for sophomores and juniors. Applications are due January 31, 2012 and are online only.  Please visit:  http://www.summerventures.org/?section=5 OR Ms. Greene for application information.
